Pueblo is a city located in the south southeastern section of the state of Colorado.
The city is a home rule municipality and in the county seat of Pueblo County.
Pueblo is one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States and is often referred to as the "Steel City".
Pueblo is the home to Colorado's largest single event, the Colorado State Fair, held annually in the summer, and the largest parade, the state fair parade, as well as an annual Chili Festival.
The city is also home to the Pueblo branch of Colorado State University.
As of 2008, the population of Pueblo was 104,951.
